Bikes For Refugees
Bikes for Refugees (Scotland) aims to support the resettlement of socio-economically disadvantaged and isolated New Scots through the upcycling and provision of free bicycles and the transformational power of cycling.
Alongside refurbishing and distributing free bikes, they also provide:

Volunteering and training opportunities to New Scots and others

New Scots Welcome Packs containing free bike accessories (helmet, lock, lights, tools) as well as essential information and signposting to other free community services and activities

Community group support such as free community meals, bike fixing and buddying sessions, led rides and cycling skills.

Displaced Collective
Displaced Collective is a newly formed grassroots voluntary community group in Birmingham made up of displaced youth, migrant justice advocates, lawyers, medics, artists, academics, writers and many more. They offer a space for displaced young people in Birmingham to access holistic support, build community and cultivate joy.

Project Play
Project Project Play is a grassroots organisation that works with displaced children in Northern France. They believe that all children have the right to play. They are a group of volunteer teachers and play workers who provide children with safe spaces to play, learn and be themselves. They are mobilising and advocating for children on the move.

Rainbow Migration
Rainbow Migration (London) provide practical and emotional support for LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum to help improve their confidence and self-esteem and reduce isolation. They provide specialist legal information and advice, and campaign to improve the treatment of people seeking asylum. They also provide legal advice and information to LGBTQI+ people who want to live in the UK with their partners.
